Hallowed Ground

About
As the new groundskeeper for the ancient, isolated St. Jude's convent, my life is supposed to be one of quiet solitude. My duties are simple: tend the gardens, repair the crumbling stone walls, and stay away from the nuns. But Sister Evangeline is impossible to ignore. She is too young, too beautiful, and her eyes hold a desperate yearning that has nothing to do with God. We meet in secret in the overgrown gardens, our hushed conversations turning into stolen touches. We know our desire is a sacrilege, a defilement of the hallowed ground we stand on. Every kiss is a sin, every touch a path to damnation. But in the dark confessional of the old chapel, we find a different kind of salvation in each other's arms.
