About
As a nurse in the emergency room, I've seen it all. But I've never had a patient like John Doe, the victim of a mysterious accident who was brought in with no ID. He has a strange, otherworldly beauty, and his chart is a puzzle—his vitals are stable, but he won't wake up. I find myself drawn to his bedside during my long shifts, talking to him, holding his hand. One night, desperate for a sign of life, I press my lips to his. His eyes snap open. He tells me he's not human, but a being from another realm, and my kiss has bound me to him. He needs my life force to heal, and he can only take it through the most intimate contact. My patient needs his medicine, and I'm the only one who can give it to him.
